This recurring workshop doesn’t exist yet, but I’m hoping to have it up and running by the fall of 2025.
I want to provide a place and space to both calm the nervous system and light up the vibrant, elemental, creative and non-verbal part of your mind. Not to get too scientific.
The workshop will incorporate two-handed drawings, which I know from experience will result in both the things I mention above.
I’m going to borrow some of Lynda Barry’s methods for relaxing the brain and making drawings that don’t have to be “good” drawings.
People will bring their own notebooks, journals or sketchbooks. We’ll use pens, pencils, pencil crayons and brush pens.
There will likely be a bit of writing involved (teeny tiny, nothing taxing)
There will be no phones or computers allowed.
It’ll take place on either a Saturday or a Sunday, once a month to start but I’d be happy to make it more often if there was demand for that.
