Young Teen at Dusk

Me as a young teen. Back in the days when it felt SUPER COOL to go buy a cotton, pin-striped man's shirt at The Salvation Army and wear it with my Levi's jeans. Back when I had a Cowichan touque that I wore folded up at the back, but unfolded at the front. Back when I had a special call for the Black Lab named Rocky who lived up the street. Back when my friends and I roamed the neighbourhood streets at dusk, climbing into adjacent trees and talking to each other from tree to tree. We'd start to get cold but we didn't care, it felt so good to be out. I still love being out at dusk.
