This photo isn't quite doing it for me, but this was my favourite painting from last year's "Kisser" show at Polychrome Fine Arts. I painted it over a sad looking hawk that had been painted on scroll-sawed wood... I can't remember where I found it (St. Vincent de Paul?) but I had that thing kicking around my studio for years before I finally painted on it. I see now that it must have been "The Beast" who gave birth to the pieces I am doing now, destined for another show at Polychrome this coming March. Beastie, I miss you!
